These terms apply to your use of volusiametaldesign.com and to any work you order from Volusia Metal Design, 1538 Garden Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32117. By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. About this website

This website is for information only. Nothing on it is an offer to sell at a set price. Photos show examples of past work; your finished piece will be made to your approved design and may differ in detail.

2. Quotes

All work is custom and priced by written quote. A quote is based on the information, measurements and drawings you give us. If the scope, size, materials or finish change, the price and schedule may change too. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise, because material prices change.

3. Orders, approval and payment

An order is confirmed when you approve the final design and quote and pay any deposit stated in your quote. We do not start fabrication until the design is approved. The remaining balance is due before pickup or shipment. Payment terms specific to your job will be listed on your quote or invoice.

4. Measurements and fit

Volusia Metal Design fabricates only. We do not install. If you or your contractor provide measurements, you are responsible for their accuracy. We build to the approved dimensions and are not responsible for fit problems caused by incorrect measurements or site conditions.

5. Materials and finishes

We offer powder coating, Kynar and anodizing (anodizing is available on aluminum only). Hand-made metalwork can show small variations in color, texture and weld marks; these are a normal part of custom work and not defects. Colors on screens and samples may look slightly different from the finished piece.

6. Lead times

Any timeline we give is an estimate. Schedules can be affected by design changes, material availability and weather. We will keep you informed if your timeline changes.

7. Pickup and shipping

Finished work can be picked up at our Daytona Beach shop by appointment. We ship within the United States only. Please inspect your order at pickup or delivery and tell us about any damage within 7 days. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

8. Cancellations, returns and replacements

Because every piece is made to order, custom items cannot be returned or exchanged. If you cancel after fabrication has started, you are responsible for materials and work completed up to that point. If your item arrives defective or is not what you approved, we will replace it or refund your order. See our Refund Policy.

9. Designs and artwork

If you send us logos, artwork or designs, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them. Designs we create remain our property until paid in full, and we may photograph finished work for our portfolio and social media unless you ask us not to.

10. Care and use

Follow any care instructions we provide. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, alteration, accidents or lack of maintenance.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12. Website content

The text, photos and designs on this website belong to Volusia Metal Design and may not be copied or used without our permission.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Volusia County, Florida.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to new orders from the date it is posted.
